Look What I Can Do!!!
I promised this awhile ago, but I finally had enough time to sit down and put it together.

Here is the Behind the Scenes Look at the Making of PWT. This isn't the dolls being funny, this is literally me walking you through the production of an episode from start to finish.

If you'd rather just read something where the dolls are funny, check out the Chat with the Cast of PWT where the dolls talk about how much they enjoy working on the show, and how they're looking forward to continuing to make episodes for a long, long time.

Or, if you're the ultimate PWT fan, then you'll probably want to head straight over to the three commentaries where you can hear me talk at length about some of the stuff you may have missed when you first watched the episodes.

There are internal links between all parts, so have fun. :)

You are just made of teh awesome! I expecially loved the Behind the Scenes coz i'm fascinated with the creative machinations of freaky evol geniuss. Loved the view of the props department and I'm sure I'm not the only person on your flist who looks at things in shops and wonders if you could use them in PWT?

will DL commentaries wehn I get home from work.

*kicks work for getting in the way of PWT*

The fact that I am CONSTANTLY looking in the toy section at whatever store I'm in just adds to my craziness. I'm always finding things and wondering how I could make that into a PWT episode. So you're definitely not the only one!! :)

Let me know what you think of the commentaries, I think I'm a giant nerd, so I'm curious to see what other people think. :)

It amazes me to no end just how much time and effort you put into these. It's like a real TV set! Scripts, "filming" schedules, prop departments, storyboards... no wonder you always say "We" in your commentaries! It's like you have to partition sections of your brain out to do different things!

By the way, I had no idea that the tissue box was a running joke. I always thought it was there because I said it was my favorite prop ;D Hee. And mad love for the shout out to me! HEE! [info]anteka said my LJ name! HEE!

Plastic!John is such a tool. I love it.

The "we" thing always trips me up. *L* I usually think it's the royal "we" but maybe you're right - I'm referring to all the different hats I wear when I make an episode. Ahhh, you always make me sound so smart. :)

You totally did know about the tissue box. You mentioned it waaaaay back in one of your Official Reviews and that's actually when I first noticed it. And now I am always determined to put it in the episode. All because of you, babe!!

I didn't know whether or not to use real names or screen names. I couldn't figure out how to say [info]grrli's name (which also makes me wonder if people can say my name correctly. When Bea used to call me Anteka, she pronounced it "Ann-Tea-Ka". But that's not really how it's spelled. Oh, well) but I think I stuck to everyone else’s screen name.

Is my voice very, very weird? It is very, very weird for me to listen to myself talk. I asked Reese if that's what I really sound like and she said yes, so...huh. I still think I want to get a microphone in case I do this again. :)

Actually, TJ was the first one to catch onto the "we" thing. He sat there going "wait. Who's we? She doesn't just mean her and her sisters right?" and the two of us just started giggling because we deemed it a multiple personality disorder of sorts. HEE! I think it's hilarious, and then the fact that you caught yourself in the end! HEEE AGAIN!

You mentioned it waaaaay back in one of your Official Reviews and that's actually when I first noticed it.
LMAO really? Oh my god, I think you're right. Every time I saw the tissue box I remember mentioning it now... hee. Tissue booox.

....oops. I've been misreading her name this entire time and pronouncing it "grilly" in my head. *faceplant* And I always assumed that your name was pronounced "ann- teh- ka". That's right... right?

Is my voice very, very weird?
No! But I noticed the accent this time (I know I know, "What accent?!") and I was all kinds of squirming and wiggling and giggling because you're just so cute and ...okay seriously. It rocked hard. After the third one was over TJ sat there and looked at me and said "That's it? There's no more? Aw. Those were funny". And honey, I totally agree.

I've been misreading her name this entire time and pronouncing it "grilly" in my head.

I don't know - is it grilly? Or is it girly? She needs to get in here and set us straight!!!

See, and my name came from one of the (many) nicknames Bea gave me as a child. "Angela" was way to hard for her, and apparently so was "Andie". But "Anorange" and "Anteka" were not. *L* Those were the two that stuck. And that's how she always spelled it, even though I see it's not quite how it's pronounced. "An-teh-ka" is probably the proper pronunciation, but yeah, it's a long "e" in the middle like "tea". Whatever, I answer to just about anything. So, since I'm sharing name origins, where did [info]ladymango come from?

You think people will want more? I just might do them all, if only to entertain myself. Now I have to get that microphone. *L* And yes, I realize I have an accent, I get told that all the time although I think I talk like everyone else. *L* The number of times I've been mistaken for Canadian is frightening. *L*

Dude, these are awesome. I'm a huge dork about all this behind-the-scenes-type stuff, especially when it comes to other people's creative processes, so this is total, total crack. Cast interviews! Commentary tracks! (You should definitely make some more of those, btw. I think this one would make a good commentary. XD) Episode production with CHARTS! *_* This thing we call PWT truly is a wonder, dear. Thanks for continuing to feed our addictions. :D

I was thinking about doing that one next for a commentary too!! :) Well, now I'll HAVE to. :)

I didn't know if this would be interesting or not to people, some people just don't want to know how things are done. But I'm glad you enjoyed it!! I hope it was a little bit entertaining. :)

And thanks!! :) I'm so grateful to everyone who reads these!!! :)

I've managed to d/l this at the moment as I can only spend so much time on the Net. *mental note: hurry home* I'll download the rest when I get more spare time. LOL.

Anyways, this was a great addition, walking us through the creative process behind-the-scenes of PWT. *smiles* When I first saw the ghost effects - it was creepy and it turned out well on the panels.

Keep it up.
Raine
