The Rock Music, It Plays
You may have noticed that I've been having people send me pictures of their "Rock Music Plays" PWT buttons in interesting locations. And you won't BELIEVE some of the places these folks have found. From Lawrence University, to Dean Winchester street, to Elvis impersonators and killer koalas - these fans have been everywhere...and they brought along their camera. This will be the Master List of images, and I'll link more as people send them in.

We'll kick things off with the ultimate shout-out from the 03.13 episode Ghostfacers when the crew is setting up their ghost hunting equipment.

I should grab one soon too and take some pics. I'm such a dork b/c I was amused when I went to visit the new home of my newlywed friends and found out they lived on Winchester Lane. Why were they not amused?? LOL.
Yeah, I think Sam and Dean would like to visit the Augusta National, the home of the Masters Golf Tournament (biggest in the world)...b/c when you think of the Winchesters the first thing you think is golf, right?? Maybe they'd like to visit the James Brown Ampitheater. I don't really know anything else exciting. Though there are numerous locations around town that are rumored to be haunted - including my college, which was originally a Civil War arsenal and a column downtown that cannot be destroyed, b/c every person that has tried to remove it has died. /rambling

Do you know what I saw when I went to Richardson to go vote today and had to take the back roads because it was rush hour? Just sitting there innocently off the side of the street in a random part of Dallas, there is an Impala Lane. No, really. So you know what I have to do now, right? :D

There's a few other places around here that I think it would be an awful shame if the Metallicar button didn't go to visit, so I'm thinking this'll be a whole thing with maps and all. *plots* Hopefully over winter break, if we can get my car fixed soonish. Stay tuned!

Also, the rock music will be playing at Disney World in two weeks. (And MGM and EPCOT and such.) Last time I was at EPCOT, there was a painted door in one of the rides. The name on the door was "Dean Finder" after a character in a movie. But I really wanted something that could find Dean for me. ;) There shall be pictures.

These pics were taken in Metropolis, Illinois, the self proclaimed home of Superman. They have a Superman Celebration every year in June and bring guest stars in and such. I've met John Schneider and Michael Rosebaum for example. I keep crossing my fingers that someone will see the need to bring "Jason Teague" to the celebration... ;-)

The Superman statue is in front of City Hall and this year at the celebration they will be dedicating a Lois Lane statue. Roadside America has a good article on the history of how it all came about...
