Actually, Sam was scooting backwards in shot #40 and so was Dean. So the fire was actually still in front of them - you can see a little of it in
#43
. I should have had a wider shot somewhere in there to establish that though. You're right, it does look like Sam's laying in the fire. Oh, hindsight, why must you always be 20/20. *L*

Wow. Dude. Are you sure you didn't see Kripke's notes for an upcoming ep? Because that was golden material right there. That outburst from Plastic!Dean sounded just like it came from the show.
And AWWW! With the petting and Plastic!Sam's head in Plastic!Dean's lap. Also, those sleeping bags rock! LOL Of course Sam's would be pink and blue.

The litany of "cursed Christmases" was pretty funny, and then Pow! Dean hits Sam with the angst (so very deserved).
Loved the pink walrus (amazingly, I thought that was a joke before), and the snuggly ending was so sweet (thought they must have moved the fire, because I think Sam's lying on it. Mmmmmm, fire--- another Winchester Christmas tradition, apparently).
