Beach City Grill Pictures
Tara, Mike and I went for a wander today and ended up at the Beach City Grill for dinner. "What is the Beach City Grill?" you might ask.


To refresh your memory (or if you've never seen the film) this is the Beach City Grill from the movie.



Here is what it looks like now.



I am very goofy.



This is the best picture I could find over at the Ten Inch Hero website. But you can see the logo and the parrot.



Tara (who is across the street) yells, "Scoot down! Your head is in the way!" And so I scooted.

I love, LOVE, L-O-V-E that they kept "Trucker" as the emergency contact. Whoops! Spoiler?

The hostess brought me the menu so I could take a picture, and when she saw the dolls exclaimed, "I have a 'Surf Naked' shirt at home!! You have to send me that picture!!"



On the ceiling are many colorful tiles. And one of them is an ode to Ten Inch Hero. A bit bigger version is [HERE]

Well, Mike's sandwich looked really good, but neither Tara nor I liked our tacos. Next time I'll just get a piece of cheesecake. :)

You go to the coolest places. I love the poses with the Priestlys. (Also, I like that Jensen's signature appears to be Christmas-themed.)

Little things like this are just so much FUN. It's harder to do it with TV shows because a lot of the time they are just on sets. This was a real restaurant and it was so freaking COOL to eat where the characters ate.

OOO how fun! That ceiling tile is awesome! It is really cool to eat in a place that was a movie set! I ate at Carver Cafe which they used to film Twilight (the owners decided to keep it how it was when they filmed instead of reverting it back so even more cool).

At first we couldn't believe how the restaurant was still there and was almost EXACTLY as it was in the film.

We were OMG SO CALM. I was really proud of us. I think we embarrassed Mike when we got the dolls out, but the manager was totally cool and recognized them right away. :)

HAHA, that is SO NOT TRUE. When I met Tara (and Plastic!Priestly) in LA, IT WAS AKIN TO MEETING ROYALTY, I kid you not. Ask her! I fangirled all over the place. You should have been there so I could complete the circuit!
