Part 1
Before we even begin, let me preface this with the following statement. THIS IS NOT PLASTIC!WINCHESTER THEATER. THIS IS NOT A HUMOROUS EPISODE. Got it? I've always wanted to try to do a "serious" episode of PWT, but I don't think that's possible. Plastic!Sam and Plastic!Dean are inherently funny. Therefore I decided to try my hand in an original outlet - The Maenads Institute. In the same vein of Torchwood being a spin-off (an anagram) of Doctor Who, Maenads is both a spin-off and anagram (Sam Dean) from Plastic!Winchester Theater. It's serious, it has naked Barbies, and more fake blood that S3 of Supernatural. And again, IT IS NOT FUNNY.

a). YAY! TV14 style cursing.
b). I know you said it's not funny, but naked Barbie's should entitle me to a small giggle. Even with fake blood. Plus I like a little humor with my drama.
c). Wow awesome video of the opening credits. Dramatic music too.
d). I love Jo's hot pink scarf. What happens next? Going to see.

a) Hee! I kept going back and forth over which rating to give it. I think TV:14 is pretty good.
b) Yes, a naked Ken doll scribbled on with a red marker definitely counts as funny. *L*
c) I'm learning more and more tricks with Windows Movie Maker every day!

Actually I've never seen Torchwood the show (it's on my to do list..right after finishing my lit paper.. :/ )
I got it from Doctor Who. Army of Ghosts/Doomsday.

I know you said this 'aint the funny one, but there's still some lovely moments of giggle-joy here - I think my favourite is the "And Troy Bolton," complete with star posing.

Like the TV-14, it's your nods to TV conventions that are wonderfully wry.

And yay to Agent Hendriksen! So much better than Gwen.

Anne's eye thing has me wondering. Liked the blood, too. I can see why you wouldn't go the ketchup route there... ;)

Sort of. :P It came off his hard plastic bits really well with soapy water, but the more porous plastic for his legs didn't yield it so well.

It's kind of like CSI with Barbies. Neato!
(Tip: if you want to get ink off the dolls, try using rubbing alcohol or an alcohol based hairspray. That should work.)

I'm off to watch. So far I love the serious. Though I did laugh a little when I saw who was in the spin off. Sorry I blame the Plastic!Carry over from PTW.
