2) I went looking for new SPN icons last night and ended up with, like, fifteen Doctor Who ones instead. *ANDIE FAILS*

3) I just looked at my day planner for today and I don't have anything. No meetings, no due dates, nothing. Thursday and Friday are a mess, but today should be blessedly quiet. I hope. *knocks on wood*

6) gonturan and I were on the phone for a little over two hours last night. The fact that she had me Googling Perfect Strangers is just a testament to how strong our friendship is. LET US DO THE DANCE OF JOY!!!!

1) First and foremost, a very happy birthday to my girl smidgy06. You are an elite member of my street fighting team and couldn't imagine life without you. I hope you have the happiest of days. *squish*

2) I went to get a massage last night and it SUCKED. My neck muscles are still tight and my back doesn't feel any better. Plus, he had really hairy arms. Let's hope yoga tonight relaxes me. I have declared this week the week of relaxation. Tomorrow is pedicures with Jess.

3) I am in a ridiculously good mood this morning. I'm practically farting rainbows and burping sunshine. On second thought maybe that massage was good for something.

Today is my BFF trillian276709's birthday. If you have a moment, it would mean a lot to me if you'd go over and say Happy Birthday to her.

As you may recall, Lucas was upset by the blatant sexism of allowing the ladies here at work to wear a tiara for their birthday while the boys wore no adornments. To remedy this glaring oversight, I promised to make Lucas a crown to wear on his birthday.

1) It's snowing today, we're supposed to get around 10" when it's all said and done. So far it's just Gene, Lucas and I at work. Joe sent out an email yesterday basically letting everyone know that they didn't need to come in today if the weather was too bad. I was a little put off by this because Joe is from San Diego and isn't used to this weather. The rest of us are from around here, we know how to drive in the snow and we don't stay home just because there is a Winter Storm Warning. Pfffft. 


2) When we went out for my birthday brunch on Sunday, I met my family at the restaurant. They made my sister, Reese, wait out front so she could show me where our table was. While waiting she played The Claw Machine to win me a birthday present. She only had 50 cents on her, but she's amazing at that game.
 

3) Johnny Depp was at the Overture Center yesterday looking for extras and classic cars for his new movie. One of the contractors that's working on our new building came over to tell me this because he took his car there yesterday. (How I became the resident Johnny Depp fanatic, I have no idea. I haven't even seen the PotC movies and am not that big of a fan) Ernie said Depp seemed nice enough but he didn't really say a lot. Lucas wanted to know if being an accessory to stalking carried the same prison sentence. I think I might have a #2 go to guy. \o/  

1) I want to thank everyone for all their birthday wishes over the past weekend. I had a fantastic birthday and I appreciate everyone who stopped by to say happy birthday. I have the best FList ever. *squishes*

2) My one birthday tradition is watching Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone. I love it when Harry gets a new, magical life for his birthday wish. This year I barely had a chance to sit down and watch it, but I made the time when I got in last night after my Superbowl/Birthday party. I then decided I didn't really need sleep and watched Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix. I forgot how much I love the Harry Potter series. HP is one of those fandoms I will fall in and out of love with as other fandoms step up to take it's place. I love that whenever I wander back, it's always there waiting for me. I spent about an hour before work trying to figure out how the HP LJ comms work and see if I could find a Ron/Harry BFF icon. I ended up making one myself.

1) Happy Birthday writing_light!!!  Sam, you are one of my favorite people on LJ. I'll never forget the first time we met face to face at winchestmidwest. I usually don't demand hugs from people I've never met before, but you were the exception. :) We've stuck together through good times and bad over the past year, and I'm really proud to call you my friend. You're kind and strong, and you have the best laugh. You can kick my ass at Guitar Hero and drink me under the table. You also take such lovely photos - every time you put up a picture post in your journal I know I'm going to be getting a new desktop backround on the computer. You're an amazing person and an even better friend, and I hope you have a fantastic year. Love you, sweetie!!

2) So far this morning I've managed to loose my keycard that gets me around the building (It has a GIANT Harry Potter sticker on it! How can I loose that!), forget my lunch and spilled tea on my sweater. 2008, you're not so great.

3) How was everyone's New Year? I had a wicked awesome time with gonturan and company. On Sunday we saw p.s. I Love You (and dude. I read a couple of really negative reviews for that movie before we went so my expectations were really low. However, what were they expecting? It was a romantic-comedy!! My tears were jerked at the appropriate moments, I laughed so hard sometimes that I missed the next joke, and I thought the whole cast was terrific.) which was fantastic (check out gonturan's new default icon), then followed it up with a Zefron marathon. Hairspray, HSM1 and HSM2 and we finally rolled into bed around 3:30am. Monday (New Years Eve) was the big party and was a good time. I had warned everyone ahead of time I would be shy since I didn't know that many people, but it was okay. The Last Blizzard of 2007 kept a lot of people home. 

4) I want to do a "Top Five Moments of 2007" for my life before the end of the week. I was thinking about it this morning in the shower and I want to put some kind of snapshot of my year in here. We'll see what I come up with.

Sweetie, I don't know what I'd do without you. You've got the truest heart and you're always right there whenever I need you. You make me laugh like no one else. You put up with my inability to spell cemetary, cemeterey cemetery on a weekly basis and you never complain. You understand what is REALLY important and you don't let the little crap slow you down.

I hope today is as amazing as you are. :)

1) Did anyone watch Criminal Minds last night? How did it end? Or, more specifically, how did Reid end up interpreting the letter that Gideon left? Does he feel loved and not abandoned now? I did not feel well last night and prayed to the porcelain god a couple of times and missed most of the episode.

2) It’s my baby sister’s birthday today!! Happy birthday, sweetie-pie! Do you remember when you were younger I had a LAUNDRY LIST of nicknames for you? Little Duck, Taylor, Jordan, Tiger, Kit-Kat Bar, the list goes on and on. Here's something you should know. I only give nicknames to people I like and usually they only get one. You have about 10, so that should tell you how much I love you. *big hug* Sorry I can't be up north with you for your special day, but I'm sure Reese will bake you a cake. :) I love you THIS MUCH!!

3) I am very boring today. This is what happens when I don’t feel well. :(  New SPN tonight, let's hope I feel better by then.
