1) Doctor Horrible Sing-A-Long Blog Trailer. Oh, Neil Patrick Harris. Can you be on my team?

2) Today is my day to post over on summer_of_giles but I forgot to load my stuff into Photobucket before I left the house so I can't post until tonight. SUCK. It's partly the lack of sleep getting to me, but it's partly my natural tendency to be a scatter-brain.

3) Two days and counting until winchestmidwest. This year we're videotaping all the panels to put online after the event so everyone can hear what we talked about. We'll also have all the Power Point presentations available if people are interested in that. I think we're more organized this year, but my stress level is also a hell of a lot higher. I'm not sure that's a brilliant trade-off. I also don't know what I'd do without gonturan.

1) senor_coconut_1 sent me my the PWT beta this morning with the subject line, Spain in Transition: from Franco's Dictatorship to the Consolidation of Spanish Democracy Under Juan Carlos--just kidding PWT, BABY that made me laugh and laugh and laugh. I don't think the actual episode was as funny as that title. *LMAO*

2) I was asked to take a day over at summer_of_giles and I am FREAKING OUT. I know they let anybody make stuff, but I've never been asked to do something outside of "my" fandom before. I am the Supernatural-girl, and yet here I am making graphics for a Buffy community. It's like I have LAYERS or something.

1) Every time I watch Buffy I think I'm a kickboxer. I've never kicked a box in my entire life, but now I'm going around kicking doors shut and making weird chopping motions with my hands and scaring the cat.


3) I GET TO SEE MY SQUISHY TONIGHT!!!! It feels like FOREVER since gonturan's been up here. We're going to stay up late, watch movies, perv on the Zefron, eat ice cream, braid each other's hair, have pillow fights and sing along with some Styx songs. BEST. WEEKEND. EVER.

4) I was thinking about this last night while watching Buffy S6. SHUT UP THIS IS JUST A PHASE. LIKE THE TIME I WOULD WATCH NOTHING BUT SANDRA BULLOCK MOVIES. *ahem* Anyway, when she comes back to life, Xander, Willow and Dawn all hug her, but when she sees Giles, Buffy throws herself at him walks to meet him and they initiate the hug together. Granted, they're different situations (friends versus parent-figure, she also had longer to adjust to being ripped out of Heaven before she saw Giles) but it made me think about myself and whether I was the hugger or the one being hugged. What are you? 

I had no idea there was an Unaired Buffy the Vampire Slayer Pilot!! AND OMG, THAT'S NOT WILLOW!!!

I've spent more time than I'm going to admit looking for Buffy/Giles vids. Not Buffy/Giles kissy-kissy-smoochie-smoochie vids, more like father/daughter, I LOVE YOU MORE THAN CUPCAKES AND WOULD TOTALLY DESTROY THE WORLD IF YOU ASKED ME TOO vids. So far I've only found a lot of crap.

It's interesting that my Buffy DVDs are the ones I most often pull out if I want to throw something on the TV while doing other things. Not X-Files, not LoTR or Harry Potter - not even Supernatural. For me it's always been Buffy. It's the relationships on that show and the way they love each other. I just watched Faith, Hope and Trick (from S3) and just...Giles LOVES Buffy. He knows she needs to talk about killing Angel and so he makes up this portal sealing spell to get her to talk to him because he KNOWS HER and KNOWS that she won't just TALK ABOUT IT because she has the angst and he's doing it because he LOVES HER SO GOSH DARN MUCH. When she comes back at the beginning of S3 I was all, WHERE IS MY HUG, BITCHES?!?!!11!! but I love his little moment of relief in the kitchen just as much. EPIC. LOVE. Damn it, now I want to borrow S2 from gonturan again to watch Passions when Giles goes after Angelus for killing Jenny and then Buffy saves him from the fire and punches him because OMG I CAN'T LOSE YOU, YOU DUMB, BRITISH FATHER FIGURE! And then she hugs him, and he hugs her, and then they cry and Andie explodes from the love and angst and drama. *happy sigh*

OMG WHY IS DOCTOR WHO NOT DOWNLOADED YET. *taps foot impatiently* I can't call Theresa until I've seen it. SHE WILL SPOIL MY ASS, I KID YOU NOT.

1) I watched a little of Buffy S2 this weekend and MAN. I forgot how much I loved that show. I went out to find some icons and was once again frightened by what I found. Whenever I venture outside of "my" fandoms it's like this crazy maze of slash and weird pairings and bad manips.

3) I have a question about cell phones. My plan doesn't expire for another year but I want a new phone. Can I just buy a new phone off eBay or wherever and switch out the SIM card? Would I keep my number? Or do I have to go to the dealer and buy a new phone that way?

4) I'm finally coming down from my sugar-high. Uggh. I think I need another box of Peeps to buzz me back up.
