I went to the Creation Con today without tickets just to meet fangirls and ended up getting fangirled. It was INSANE.

I was interviewed by the cwsource (and sounded like a complete asshole idiot. *face palm*) and by another woman who was writing an article on fandom and specifically women in fandom. Both took the plastic!boys pictures and I can't wait to see them. Actually, I can't wait to see all the pictures that people took of the dolls. They were also taking my picture and I was extremely flattered. (Not to mention glad that I did my hair this morning instead of throwing it into a ponytail like I had planned) ;)

It's one thing to read feedback online and hear how much PWT is loved, but it's entirely something else to have people come up to you all day long and tell you how much they love you and how you've made them laugh. That's all I've ever wanted to do - make people smile with a couple of Ken dolls. I feel all shiny and happy inside. :) Not to mention I've had this dorky smile on my face all day. :)

1) They re-titled Jared's movie to Home for Christmas, which, WTF it still has Christmas in the title! *eye roll* Have you read the plot summary? ( Cut for spoilers... )

2) How come no one is talking about the Creation Entertainment Tribute to Superuatural, Smallville, or Buffy Centerpiece Competition?

I.CANNOT.STOP.LAUGHING. You all have no idea how badly I want to enter this. I'm going to fill a vase with rock salt, tape some AC/DC cassette tapes to pipe cleaners, and make a beautiful arrangement. Don't steal my idea!!

3) New Girl is going DOWN. She parked in my spot this morning, and dude, I know we don't have assigned "spots" but we all park in the same spots EVERY.SINGLE.DAY. This morning she cut me off turning into the parking lot and then proceeded to take my spot. *RAGE* When I got inside Colin was all, "Ooooh, Andie is going to slash her tires at lunch!!" She then proceeded to tick off Tina (the big boss) and Gwen (who is nearly impossible to piss off) so at least it isn't just ME.

4) It amuses me to no end that whenever the phone rings everyone in my family now says, "Is it time?" in leiu of a greeting. Doesn't matter who's calling. Today is Reese's due date after the doctor told her last Thursday that she should go into labor within the next 72 hours. LIAR.

Oh, FRIDAY. I loves you soooooo.

1) A big thanks to footontheground and wenchpixie for being my enablers yesterday. Here come the drums, here come the drums!! *boogies down*

2) I was going to head to Target tonight to see if they had any of the HSM2 dolls on the shelves, but my fairy Godmother struck again. tariel22 (who has yet to post in her journal. Honey, just do it! Close your eyes and jump! Aha!! She did it! Go welcome her to LJ!!) had to go to three Targets to find Plastic!Ryan but she did it. Based on her reconnaissance, she said each store got 1 Ryan, 2 Chads, 3 Taylors, 4 Troys, 9 Gabriellas, and 8,000 Sharpays. That sounds about right to me. ;) And OMG I HAVE THE ENTIRE CAST OF HSM. Now if only my story can live up to this cast!! I heard Plastic!Zac doesn't want to make PWT: The Musical unless the script is plastic!award winning. I better get working on that. ;)

3) There are times I feel like a pod-person. Who is this relaxed girl who posted quasi-spoilery pictures in her journal last night? Surely it can't be Andie! Am I getting mellow in my old age? You know what, I'm GLAD I looked at those pictures last night. You know why? Because I'm EXCITED again. Don't let the Doctor Who window dressing fool you - there is just one show that completely owns my heart. I miss my boys. Bring on S3. I'm ready and waiting. :)

4) Justin came into my office this morning to lend me a book (Special Topics in Calamity Physics by Marisha Pessl) and apropos to nothing, he announces he knows Viggo Mortenson's brother (up until three months ago when he moved to Wisconsin, Justin lived his entire life in Idaho, a fact that he is teased about daily) Walter and used to spot him at the gym. WTF, thank you for the random information. (ETA: Wait, I think I figured this out. He might have noticed my Lord of the Rings day-by-day calendar which is still flipped to yesterday where Aragorn is running away from some elves with a WTF face. That calendar sucks so much) He then went on a little side-story about how weird that entire family is. I have come to the conclusion that Justin's people skills suck.

You have GOT to be kidding me. Jared was $20 last year at Fangoria. This entire event is steadily rolling out of financial control. You add weekend passes and maybe a photo-op and this is going to end up costing as much as the Gold Package.

Creation Entertainment Adds Jensen Ackles to Chicago Line-Up

I don't care if Jared and Jensen are giving out free kisses along with the Gold Package, I still wouldn't pay $389 for that.
