I Reject Your Reality and Replace It With My Own

1) I am wearing a PWT prop as part of my outfit today. You know the blue scarf I use as water? I decided that although my blue sequin top looked hot with my new suit jacket, it was just a little too porntastic for work. So I wrapped the scarf around my neck and voila! My outfit is now work-safe. I am like MacGyver but with scarves and hair clips instead of duct tape and pen caps. *nods*

2) Do we all remember that the SPN Meta Book submission deadline is SATURDAY, MARCH 31st? As in, TWO DAYS?!?! If you’ve been thinking about submitting something for consideration, do it. The worst we can say is no. Besides, you’ll be kicking yourself later if you don’t do it now. Come on!! Meta for me!! 



5) Happy Thursday! I think the orange juice must be working, because I feel like my crabbiness really has decreased in the past week. Maybe it’s the warmer temperatures, but I don’t feel like strangling someone with their own intestines every time they look at me cross ways. No new Supernatural tonight, but Croatoan is still good times!! *happy sigh* Remember all the OMG, THE BIG DAMN SECRET when it first aired? That was fun.

1) Happy Birthday, Reese!! The big 2-7! We have so many funny/sweet/embarrassing stories from when we were kids I don't know which one to tell. I can tell you what my first memory of you is - I was three and you were one and we were laying hay (on top of the grass seed) in the backyard of our new house. You were trying to walk down the steps of the deck but they were too steep for you. I remember thinking, "Uh-oh, Reese needs help!" and running over to grab your hand so you didn't fall. You weren't moving fast enough for me, so I picked you up and carried you down the last two steps and you threw a fit because OMG YOU COULD DO IT YOURSELF. I swear, you have ALWAYS been that stubborn. *L* Love you, sissy!

2) Music for everyone! Make This Go On Forever (Snow Patrol) - [LYRICS]. Yes, I know I titled the gosh darn song wrong on the download. *L* I have the new program dragynville turned me onto that converts the protected files into mp3s without losing quality, but I haven't figured out how to keep the song name attached. It seems to blank it out and just randomly assign it a number which leaves it up to me to remember what the actual song name is. And, as most of your know, that almost never ends well. :) ANYWAY. I heard this song the other night on the mix CD Bea made me and something about the chords of the chorus touched me. I'm not being facetious, whatever the chord progression on the chorus is, it made a harmonic with some piece of my soul and made a very "full" feeling. It was awesome. Or maybe hormones - could be either.

3) Does anyone use the Isadora lip liner pencil? Do you know how to push it up? I’ve twisted and pushed and prodded every inch of that darn thing and I can’t figure out how to get more color out of it. Help?

2) 19 days until Fangoria. This countdown will probably become a thing with me, just so you’re warned. Reese and I began planning outfits this weekend – that means it’s really happening. *is very silly*

3) Hey, Tim? (for that is the name of my iPod – don’t ask) I just finally, finally, FINALLY, got the “Renegade” song out of my head after about two weeks. So, although you think you’re funny playing it twice in twenty minutes, let me tell you – you’re NOT. Oh, mama I’m in fear for my life indeed.

4) Hello! How is everyone? I barely got online this weekend what with all the merry making and whatnot. I had grand plans of catching up on LJ last night but that dissolved into me huddled on the couch under two comforters watching my brand new Chronicles of Narnia DVD (and by the way, the commentary on that? BLOWS) and trying to stay warm. But thank you to everyone who wished me a happy birthday – all your posts made me smile. If you missed the first post of all my shiny presents you can see them here. I also got a Dean-centric gen fic from restless_jedi that I’ll make time to read tonight, a very cute ecard from blucasbabe, a shiny animated icon from caffienekitty, an ADORABLE birthday message from expastic, the SEXIEST birthday picture ever from acidquill, greyelveneyes bought the plastic!boys something they've been BEGGING me for, and ladymango made me cookies. OMG SO MUCH LOVE TO EVERYONE! *hugs world*

5) Because Friday was a slow day, I’m going to pimp again just in case you missed it. The SPN magazine postcard campaign has started and the first magazine we’re sending cards to is Entertainment Weekly. Get details and the magazine address here.

6) Outside temperature? -13°F. With windchill? -29°F. Current temperature in my office? 61°F. Now, when you look at those temperatures relative to one another I should just shut up and stop complaining. But there is so much frost/ice on the inside of my windows I could build a snowman. I’ve got the space heater cranked but my fingers are still very cold. Ahhh, winter.

1) At 4am this morning I heard my cell phone sing it's text message song. And because it was 4am and my brain wasn't really working, I stumbled out to answer it. It was just ladymango wishing me a happy birthday and it made me smile. I've got to learn to turn the volume down on that thing. *L*

3) Yesterday I asked for birthday icons (which I will be using while I'm out and about on LJ today - which probably won't be until later tonight) and I thought I'd put them all in one place so you can all appreciate the birthday happiness.

3. I'm having a problem with my animated icons again. What's the rule - you can have 5 .gif's linked together and still be able to load it on your User Pics page? Because the "Sam Being Choked" set I made last night are too big to load. So if I take one of the pictures out then it should be okay? Or is there another trick to it? Save the .gif's at a lower resolution?
