I Reject Your Reality and Replace It With My Own

1) When I was in Chicago this weekend with gonturan, we swung by the Thomas Kinkade store and took some pictures.


2) It is bitterly cold right now in Wisconsin (-9 degrees) but wintertime is usually when we have our prettiest sunrises because the air is thin and the colors can bleed together.


3) I'm wearing my pink turtleneck with my tri-colored (dark pink, pink, white) down vest and every keeps exclaiming, "My! You are very pink today!!" 

4) angieb5and I went to see National Treasure II last night. It was really cute, but I think I had a better time just hanging out with Angie. That girl can make me laugh like nobody else.

After all that I sat on the couch and watched Doctor Who. The Doctor always knows how to make me feel better. ;)

3) Speaking of Doctor Who, I only have two episodes of S2 left. *sigh* I don't even know if I want to watch them if I know they're just going to make me sad. :( I could just skip to S3, pretend Rose is on a holiday and that the Doctor will pick her up when he has a chance. Please? Can we play pretend? *sigh* Oh, and here's a question - does he completely forget about her in S3? And caffienekitty and I were talking about this the other day - how much am I going to hate Martha?

4) I put a counter on PWT last night because I had been asked how many people watch an episode. I put the counter on Part 4, assuming those were the people who made it through the whole episode. According to the counter, 13 people watched PWT last night. I'm going to go out on a limb here and say that might be under-counting just a pinch. *eye roll* I used http://www.free-counter.com, but does anyone know of a counting site that actually works? I got one! http://www.statcounter.com looks brilliant and it seems to be working! I put it on this post just as a test. Rock on! :)

5) trillian276709 left for Atlanta at the asscrack of dawn this morning. I won't get to talk to her for five whole days. I hope she sends me pictures of storm troopers from Dragon Con. ;)

1) crumpeteer is doing a chapter by chapter summary of HP7 and it is hugely amusing. Spoilers, obviously.

2) miss_begonia wrote a HSM/SPN crossover (yeah, you read that right) that is crackalicious. It’s like my two very favorite things smushed together into one hilarious ball of awesome.

3) In other news, it looks like Nick Brendon will be at the Chicago Smallville/Buffy/Supernatural Con. Ohhh, XANDER.

4) I spent over an hour and a half watching Zac Efron on YouTube last night. I entirely blame jeweleglantine for this. I knew he was in an episode of Firefly (that's one of those moments where I knew the kid was special back when I first saw the episode. Sort of like Ted King in the XF movie. He had one little scene but just had such a presence that when Reese and I both saw it in the theater, we turned to one another and wondered who the hell THAT guy was. Zac was the same way on Firefly. He NAILED Sean Maher's Simon.) but had no idea he made the rounds of all the other popular TV shows. I was sad when he died on ER, shocked he was kind of evil on CSI: Miami, and amused at how doofy he was on If You Lived Here, You’d Be Home By Now. Not to mention watching him get Punk’d was highly amusing.

I so need to get to work. There's just too much of it. *sigh*

1) Fool me once, shame on me. Fool me twice... SERIOUSLY. Creation Entertainment broke my heart once (and Jared? Your track record for canceling events is starting to worry me) but of COURSE I stayed on their mailing list and of COURSE I still want to go to this. *sigh* We'll see. I just...it fucking SNOWS IN NOVEMBER IN THE MIDWEST. It's like they've learned NOTHING from last time. *sigh*
