I know, some of the songs are goofy, but there is a line or a chorus that has always reminded me of him. *shrugs* I'm very weird. You should totally know this by now. *L*

2) So Jared's Christmas Cottage movies is going straight to DVD. His smile looks rather...forced. Is Peter O'Toole giving him a wedgie? And I'm not overly sussed about not getting to see it in a theater. This way I can have a pajama party!!! *glee*

3) I went to see Mamma Mia with my mom last night. She has an adorable crush on Pierce Brosnan. When the movie was over she said a very Andie-like comment. "I really like Pierce Brosnan. *pause* But I'm not entirely sure he can sing." *LMAO* That was my EXACT feeling. But like my mom mentioned, they all looked like they were having such FUN, you got sucked into it along with them. As I told Tara and Theresa last night, we're on our way to being The Donna's when we grow up. Silly and fun and always together. *loves*

Amanda Seyfried is the one cast member that just rocked my socks off. I loved her on Veronica Mars but had no idea she could do THIS. She and Meryl Streep had excellent chemistry and she had all these adorable quirky mannerisms that just made you love her character.

I am having...a day. And I'm so afraid I'm getting sick. I'm shivering and I have a headache. Come on body, you need to hold out five more days. Five more days and then you can just lay on the couch and watch Burn Notice reruns and relax. Hang in there.

I am a sucker for harmony, and Joss Whedon understands harmony. I also love that I can never tell where the line of music is going. Plus, Neil Patrick Harris sings so PRETTY.

That's Just the Way We Roll. Yes, this is how I've been spending my afternoon. DAMN YOU, JONAS BROTHERS! However, this song has a) a catchy melody b) my favorite catch-phrase and c) a Hanson shout-out. WIN. \o/ I'm getting the winchestmidwest registration letter all ready to be sent out tonight/tomorrow morning and needed something chipper in the background so I don't get bored.

I'm also keeping an eye on the Coeur d'Alene Ironman to reassure myself that Justin hasn't died. Last time I checked his dot was still moving forward so OMGYAY!! It would be nice if he finished before midnight. Andie needs to get SOME sleep.

ETA: He just finished his bike ride! Only 26 more miles to run. I can't believe he PAID to do this. /ETA

Jess and I just ran to Copps to pick up something for lunch (I got a great Pesto Turkey on focaccia and a piece of chocolate cake the size of my head) and Something Going Round was playing. I had to stop in the pet supply aisle and just listen for a moment because hearing a Hanson song while out and about in the real world almost NEVER happens.

Suddenly today is like CHRISTMAS. :)

I think it's best if I just don't talk to people today. I can see the edge and from where I'm standing, it's not far. It's best if I just keep my mouth shut for a little while and let my mood settle down before I say something I can't take back.

I was sixteen years old when this song came out, and Meatloaf's Bat out of Hell: II was the first cassette I bought for my badass black Z24 with a pink racing stripe. This song is summer to me. It's rolling the windows down and just letting the music take you to another place. It's really believing that you can "put on the 'phones and let the drummer tell your heart what to do." When I was young and the future was laid out in front of me, music was what I always used to ground myself. This is who I was in that specific time and place. Unabashedly optimistic and inspired by over-blown rock operas.

Embarrassing confession time. I once choreographed an entire ice skating routine to this song. We're talking triple toe loops and dramatic air guitar pantomimes; full on Blades of Glory-type showmanship. The best part? I don't ice skate. I mean, we used to tart around on the rink in town, but I could barely manage to skate in a straight line. However, if the Olympics ever came calling, I had my routine ready.

That song came up on my iPod and I just finished a 45 minute crying marathon that flushed out every issue I've had for the last five years. As if I wasn't exhausted before, now I'm ready to sleep for a year.

First, did anyone else catch what the closed captioning said when the Ghostfacers were setting up their equipment?

I'm going up North today to help one sister move and the other to pick out wedding supplies.

1) I am listening to my "Happy Mix" of music and they just played "Beautiful Soul" by Jesse McCartney. That song CRACKS ME UP. Now, the chorus normally contains the line, "I just want you and your beautiful soul" but during the end of the song when he is do-whoping around he changes it to, "I want you and your soul!!!" which, OMG JESSE WANTS TO EAT YOUR SOOOOOOOUL. Well, it makes me laugh, anyway. And I sort of need that today.

2) Round 2 of the SPNA March Madness tournament is up. If you haven't voted get to it, some of the polls close at noon EST.

3) Charlie FM here in Madison is hosting a What Would You Say To Hanson? contest to meet the boys. I wrote the worst essay ever written by a 30 year old. However, I prefer these contests to the ones where you just throw your name in a hat. You know who told me about this contest? MY MOTHER. Sometimes life is just too weird.

I heard "This Time Around" on the radio while driving home from work today and it occurred to me that it's still one of my all-time favorite songs.

Instead of a PicSpam, I decided to do a MusicSpam of Hanson's music through the years.

2) There will be a new PWT this week, although it won't be up until Friday. My mouse broke on Monday (the internal roller wouldn't go left anymore) but because of the snow I waited until yesterday to pick up a new one. Then with Heath Ledger's death, I was a bit preoccupied last night. Long story short, I'm nowhere near where I should be.

A little while ago I bemoaned the fact that no one had ever made a Supernatural fanvid to the Our Lady Peace song, 4 am. tinitrinity stepped up to the plate and said she would see what she could come up with.
