Zefron - Troy Is Freaking Out

Lanyards and Me Crying, You Know. Situation Normal.

1) We're selling the leftover lanyards from [info]winchestmidwest in an eBay auction [HERE].

I'm going to use mine at DragonCon, so I thought I'd throw it out there in case anyone wanted one for Comic Con.

2) Brett Favre is making me cry. And it's making me hate him.

3) There was drunken debauchery last night. Pictures to come.

Angel - Fred Reading

Give A Little Bit of Your Heart

Jessica and I just volunteered to help with an Extreme Home Make-Over happening in the Madison area. I'm ridiculously excited about this. I want to paint! Or arrange bed-linens!

And I'm probably going to cry when the new family moves in. Or hump Ty's leg. Or both.

The Fangirl Guide

[info]crumpeteer is trying to get [info]thefangirlguide going again and I'm going to encourage you all to go over and get involved. It's a movie review community that focuses not so much on movies in general, but movies with eye candy. EYE CANDY, PEOPLE. You know you want to.

Pushing Daisies - Peeking

WinchestMidwest Round-Up

1) I am chagrin to ask this - but someone out there offered to speak about misogyny during the fandom panel at [info]winchestmidwest . I know I saved your email but it seems to be...temporarily misplaced. I'm emailing panelists this morning, so if you see this and it was you, can you drop me a note in the comments or send another email? Thank you!!

2) Speaking of [info]winchestmidwest , we'd like to play some Supernatural fanvids between panels. I'll put out the informal call for them here, but I'll put the more "official" request over on the comm. We're accepting up to two submissions from any Supernatural vidder. All submissions must be gen, specifically about the show, and under 5 minutes long. If you have any questions or would like to submit your video for the Con, drop a note in the comments or send an email to my contact info. ETA: YouTube is great so I can see the video - but I'm going to need an actual copy of the vid that I can download for the presentation. Thanks in advance. /ETA

3) And last but not least - does anyone have an .avi version of the interview where Kripke talks about going to use a Ford Mustang and his neighbor said it was a pussy car and to use a 1967 Chevy Impala because you could fit a body in the trunk? We're thinking it's from the Tales from the Edge of Darkness feature from the S1 DVDs. Anyone have it as an .avi?

Pushing Daisies - Peeking

A wasted youth is better by far than a wise and productive old age

1) I posted things at really weird times over the weekend, so in case you missed it, Tara and I did a commentary for the Plastic!Awards.

2) We also visted the Beach City Grill restaurant from Ten Inch Hero. Betsy posted it on the TIH MySpace page which is AWESOME.

3) Here are some random pictures from my latest trip. )

4) Lucas left a trail of neon pink sticky notes down the hall to my office this morning because he figured I might forget where I sit since I had been gone for so long. One look at my work InBox and I wanted to turn right around and follow those stickys back out the door. *sigh*

I will be catching up on my FList sometime between now and 2010. Tell me all the news!

Pushing Daisies - Peeking

I haz internetz!!

1) I feel like I have been away for SEVEN THOUSAND YEARS. Which is weird because I'm usually never online on the weekends anyway. BUT STILL.

2) Here are your links for Monday, April 7th, 2008:

a) Jensen Ackles set to star in 'Bloody Valentine'.

b) Another fun SPN game to tide us over until new episodes - go play Name That Bitchface!

c) If you haven't registered for WinchestMidwest yet, this is just a reminder to do so before June 13th before the registration fee goes up. That weekend is a great chance to meet other fangirls and discuss the show in a face-to-face setting.

3) By a weird series of coincidences, I found out yesterday that they made my absolute favorite Nora Robert's book, Montana Sky, into a Lifetime movie. This is good and bad. Good because I've always wanted to "watch" this book and bad because dude. It's a Lifetime movie. However, it's got John Corbett in it, so it might be salvageable. I guess it first aired back in February of last year, but because the stars aligned or something, it is going to be repeated on Saturday for the Nora Robert's marathon. Next problem? No cable. I will prevail. Or crash at my mothers, WHICHEVER.

4) It looks like everyone at EyeCon had a FANTASTIC time. Oh, Padalecki. You amuse me so. *L*

Impalalalala Game

[info]weesta has a guess which Impala picture came from which episode game and it is frickin' HARD!! Go play!

Jensen - His Kisses Come For $4 a Second

I don't know, like, my BFF Eric?

1) [info]weesta is playing a very fun game over in her LJ. Match the SPN hotel room to the episode!! If you have a second, go play. I freaked myself out with how much I suck at remembering titles. I can give you an episode synopsis, but the title? Uhhh, no. *L*

2) To all you people going to the Creation Con this weekend, have an amazing time!! My BFF [info]trillian276709 is going with her sister-in-law, so if you see two British ladies walking around with black PWT buttons, say hi!! She should have blue-haired Plastic!Priestly with her, and if you ask nicely she'll probably let you touch him under his kilt hold him. (This was also a not-so-subtle shout-out to the new Rock Music Plays Store. Not much in there now, but more to come. And yes, your old RMP buttons are now considered a PWT "collector's item". ;P) I can't WAIT to hear all the stories from your weekend!

Happy Friday! I'm going to see "Run, Fatboy, Run" tonight, eat some ice cream, and probably listen to some Styx. You get one guess who's coming over. ;P Coffee tomorrow morning with the girls should continue to improve my disposition. :)

Both - The Boys are Back

SPNA March Madness

With March Madness in full-swing, wouldn't it be fun if instead of picking our favorite NCAA team, we picked our favorite Supernatural episode?

Guess what! YOU CAN!!! I think [info]mrstinkles came up with a really clever idea and I encourage everyone to go over and fill out a bracket!

Pushing Daisies - Peeking

*stares longingly at icon*

1) I have been shit at replying to comments lately. I usually post between the inital rush of rounds at work and my afternoon block of meetings. When I get in at night I love reading what everyone had to say during the day, but the energy to respond just isn't there. I need Spring and I need it NOW.

2) Remember a couple of days ago when I wondered outloud if anyone had made a "Sam wants to be the king of the demons" fanvid to "I Just Can't Wait To Be King"? And there really wasn't one? Guess what! Now there is! :) [info]amandidda made one! Huzzah! Go on and take a look, it cracks me up. :)

3) [info]deirdre_c sent me a comforting article about the nice farm where they sent Brett Favre to live out his retirement.

4) New PWT tomorrow night. It's eleven parts, which explains why it took me four weeks. This is far and away the longest, most complex story I've ever tried to tell.

5) Johnny Depp is currently breathing my air. Well, I'm in a 50 mile radius of his air at least.

Have a good day, peeps. :)

All Tara's Fault

HAPPY BIRTHDAY, TARA!!!!

Today is my BFF [info]trillian276709's birthday. If you have a moment, it would mean a lot to me if you'd go over and say Happy Birthday to her.

Tara is my BFF... )

Wisconsin - It IS a Hellmouth

Hey! That's my show!

The Wisconsin State Journal ran a giant article on Supernatural today and it made me all warm and fuzzy. They put it right under the TV listings for tonight (which, wouldn't it have made more sense to pimp it out TOMORROW, but whatever) along with a S1 promo pic of them standing by the glowing house. NICE. It wasn't a local reporter, so it probably ran elsewhere. I can't find it online, but maybe I can steal it from the break room later.

Seriously, I am very happy right now. I turned the page to double check Criminal Minds was on tonight and BAM! I got a face-full of my boys. :)

Pinky and the Brain - TAKE OVER THE WORL

What Time Is It? WINTERTIME!!

1) I just started looking for fic again (I swear it's been almost six months since I've read one) and I'm currently reading [info]queeberquabbler's fic, Cast No Shadow (Gen, WIP). It's about Dean's previous escapes from the reaper and how that impacts his deal with the crossroads demon. It reads like an episode, which I like. It's also long, and that's what I like to read in the winter. A fic I can curl up with for a couple of hours and get fully immersed in the world.

2) Does anyone know which S2 episode this picture is from? )

3) I want to find the MST3K episode where they keep making fun of Wisconsin/Brett Favre/cheese and yelling, "Packers!! Packers won the Superbowl!! Packers!!" at odd moments.

4) Happy Thursday! Red Sky at Morning? Pass. I think I'll rewatch Born Under a Bad Sign instead. Have a fabulous day!!!

Pushing Daisies - Peeking

Oh, my baby

1) There is the cutest article ever about Brett Favre in the LA Times. And look! He made the cover of Sports Illustrated again! (thanks [info]angieb5!!)

Wisconsin is nuts about it's football, but I'm glad to see Packer-mania is sweeping the country as well.

2) [info]aerynsun21 took her *rock music plays* button to Stull Cemetery.

Come see!!! )

3) Fans4Writers have started an online auction to raise money for the striking writers. Earlier this week I sent out my Supernatural donation to be auctioned off. I'll let you know when it goes up on auction and explain the backstory. If anyone has an item they would like to donate for auction, you can contact Fans4Writers via the website above.

4) I had yogurt, fruit and granola for breakfast. Yum-o.

Enjoy your day!

Sweet Charity - Take Three

1) I signed up for the newest round of Sweet Charity even though I was really bad at getting the last one done. But they're raising money for the Writer's Strike and I really couldn't say no to that. So I'm in. Bidding starts next week (I think) and your money will be well spent.

2) This song has been stuck in my head since we watched Summerland this weekend.

Remember when that was on the radio ALL.THE.TIME? I do. And considering I still remember the majority of the lyrics, I think Jesse McCartney owes me some brain cells.

3) No new PWT this week, but expect a teaser trailer tomorrow. I can no longer do things half-way.

4) HSM 3 finally has a plot synopsis which gives almost nothing away. You know what I would like to see? First, that Troy doesn't have to be the jackass, and also that Sharpay isn't the "villian". I'd like it to be the adults the kids are fighting, like the school district is cancelling the music program because of budget cuts and the kids have to work together to perform the musical to end all musicals to raise the money to keep the program. See? DRAMA!!

Pushing Daisies - Peeking

Ho Ho Ho!!! No, I'm not talking about your mother!

1) Ha! You know how I always say that Lily isn't a black cat and no one believes me?

Proof! )

2) I've been meaning to link to this forever. For [info]angieb5's birthday her roommate made her a SPN Happy Birthday banner. You GUYS. I'm not kidding, she needs to market that thing, it is THAT amazing. Go over and take a look.

3) [info]topaz119 is looking at the rough draft of her Sweet Charity PWT episode. *is nervous* If all goes well, the rest of you should be able to see it tonight.

4) Go vote for the Greatest QB of All Time!! Brett Favre is the MAN!!!!

5) That's a good idea, plastic!stands in the audience...

Happy Wednesday!! Or as I like to call it, Supernatural Eve!!!! :)

You've all seen the speechless videos in support of the writers strike, right? Well, thanks to [info]trillian276709 the plastic!boys have now joined the campaign. Watch the video here.

Rainbow Brite - Happy Times

*uses cheerful icon*

1) My sister Reese opened an online store of all her storybook characters. You can see the shirts here at zazzle.com. I bought the one with the penguin and the seal, as that's been my favorite since high school. However, the ninja monkey makes me laugh, so I might get that one too. They're a little more pricy than Cafe Press, but I don't hate Zazzle with the white hot intensity of a thousand burning suns, so really, I don't mind.

2) I wasn't going to do Christmas cards this year but now I'm changing my mind (maybe). I sent 214 cards out last year and when you figure they were custom-made PWT cards and then add postage - yeah. I'm not doing that again. However, I know better than to say "never again". We'll see.

3) Justin is listening to the "Across the Universe" soundtrack in his office without headphones (but his door is closed) and it is driving me MAD. I don't like to listen to other people's music and he needs to turn it down. I'm crabby as it is today after the stuff that went down yesterday so yeah. TURN IT DOWN.

4) Thursdays need SPN. Even if they are repeats. I think I'll be getting some chemical cheese from Taco Bell tonight. I think I've earned it.

Is it weird when I don't understand my own answers? I think sometimes I change my mind mid-thought and start a new sentence without finishing the first one. *L*
