Okay, to be true to my "vision" of the PWT S3 finale, I had to make it into a movie file. Now, I'm probably going to upload the pictures into the regular format eventually (just so it will always be SOMEWHERE in case the links default) but I really had an idea for this episode, and you need to see the transitions and hear the background music in order to do so.

Once upon a time I was asked to make a presentation about the history of PWT and talk a little bit about my process and how I create an episode. For winchestmidwest I decided to take that Power Point presentation and turn it into a little E! True Plastic!Hollywood Story type mini-documentary.

Also, I don't usually ask for feedback, but this was the first time I tried to do anything like this so I would like to know what people think. And the first person to make fun of my Grown Up Voice is going to get a kick in the patookus.

2) I'm glad I wasn't the only one who thought Billie Piper was speaking with some weirdass accent last week.

3) And this just is - Zac Efron showers.

I know I'm behind on comments and I will get to them. This week is crazy. I'm working 10 hour days and then coming home and working for another seven hours on winchestmidwest stuff. Normally five hours of sleep doesn't cut it for me, but I figure I will crash SO HARD on Monday. As long as I have a focal point I will be fine. :)

1) I wish they would stop saying Kripke is making a Supernatural prequel that takes place in the Old West because I'm 99% sure he's just kidding. Do they really think the CW would greenlight that? Only if it takes place at a high school in a very famous zip code.

2) winchestmidwest starts Friday and I'm starting to get that "OMG I'M NOT READY" feeling. Everything always works itself out. Breathe, honey.

3) I could really go for a iced mocha. Calories be DAMNED.

4) I get irrationally angry everytime some jackass reporter says Camp Rock premiered higher than HSM. It premiered higher than HSM1 because no one knew it was going to be such a juggernaut when it aired. HSM1 built over word of mouth and repeat viewings. HSM2 was the biggest premiere on a cable network and Camp Rock DIDN'T beat that. Suck it, Disney and stop trying to disrespect the Zefron.

I can't figure out what disturbs me more. The fact that they made a throw blanket or that they're charging $90 for it. o_O

( Plastic!Winchester Theater - 03.16 (Part 1 of 6) )

1) seleneheart wrote and excellent meta on the hero's journey on Supernatural as related to Joseph Campbell, who Kripke has mentioned as an influence. The essay makes me feel a little better about S4 (and explains WTF Mystery Spot had to do with the price of tea in China in relationship to the season). You can read it here.

2) I was up in Appleton today for my cousin's graduation and had to miss coffee with my girls. But Kate called me on the ride up, and that made me smile. :) I bought Allie Mack the same thing I buy all high school graduates. Oh, the Places You'll Go! by Dr. Seuss. I love the message of the story, and how appropriate it is for a senior stepping out into the big, bad world.

3) I also got sunburned today. Because that's what I do when I go to a graduation party in Appleton. Seriously, I wear sunscreen, the sun up there just kills me anyway.
